GGTG Daily Practices - The "why" and "how" of meditation

The GGTG Program asks participants to commit to at least one GGTG Daily Practice. Over time, this daily commitment to oneself establishes a foundation onto which you can build more in service to the path from Good Girl to Goddess, coming into more authenticity, joy and peace. In this series of blog posts, we discuss the purpose behind each of these Daily Practices and the different ways they can be approached. Today we explore the why and how of meditation.

An Exploration of the Goddess – her features, her tools, and her embodiment

Last week, the GGTG Collective met to explore the Goddess archetype, a representation of the authentic, powerful, compassionate creator that exists within every woman. We discussed how to identify her, explore her, and work with her as we heal our Good Girl so that we can embody our Goddess more of the time. The replay is available on the GGTG online community for GGTG Collective members.

The Good Girl to Goddess Program Origin Story

The GGTG program has been carefully crafted to take participants step-by-step through a set of tools that I designed after hundreds of hours of research into attachment theory, childhood trauma, and personal development. It employs clear techniques based on proven scientific research on meditation, bodywork, journaling, relationships and more, collated into an easy-to-navigate online learning platform that allows busy women to work through the materials in their own time, on any device.

Pondering People Pleasing

When we people please, we abandon ourselves. We proclaim with our actions that our needs are not as important as the needs of others, a decision often made unilaterally on everyone else’s behalf. We also make ourselves the universal arbiters of what’s acceptable and what is not, even though it is not our job to do so.
